Byfords offers the informality of a B&B, but with the quality of an upmarket hotel, hence the term 'Posh B&B'.
The theme for the rooms is 'North Norfolk', with local, natural materials used wherever possible, such as flint, exposed brickwork and oak floor boards as well as slate, leather, silk and linen. The walls are filled with paintings and dramatic photography of the surrounding area.
All bedrooms have a wealth of character and consist of a luxury bed, a separate comfortable seating area, a desk with a telephone and modem point, satellite television, fabulous en-suite facilities with dual bathing baths, power showers and underfloor heating. WiFi has also recently been installed.
The 16 bedrooms at Byfords include a number of family rooms and a room specially designed for disabled guests.
Convenient and secure car parking is located at the rear of the building for B&B guests.
Byfords has won numerous awards for the high standard of its accommodation and service, including a 5 Star Gold Award from VisitBritain for the third oonsecutive year in 2009 and a Silver Enjoy England for Excellence Award, also in 2009.
