Run by award winning children's author/illustrator Stewart Lees and his wife Caren (with occasional help from their children), Eton Lodge combines the standards and luxurious touches of a good hotel with the charm and friendliness of a family run B&B.
There are three inviting guest rooms each finished to it's own distinctive colour palette reflected in their names, the Lavender Room, the Bluebell Room and the Norfolk Sands Room. All the rooms are doubles with en-suites and each is provided with TV/DVD, tea and coffee making facilities, alarm clock/radio, a hairdryer, luxury towels and a selection of complimentary toiletries.
In addition each room has items to cover most minor emergencies, from insect bites to sunburn and from cuts and grazes to a forgotten toothbrush. There is even a mini fridge stocked daily with complimentary mineral water and fresh milk for your tea!
The sunny, south facing breakfast room doubles as a lounge and is always available to guests. There are books, board games, a TV along with DVD's and video's. A water cooler dispenses ice cold mineral water at any time of day or night.
We do ask guests who smoke not to do so anywhere in the house but the rear garden is easily accessed and smokers are welcome to enjoy a quiet puff amongst the roses and fuchsias! |
