Hollyhock House is a detached house on the cliffs overlooking the sea. Situated in a private close with no street lights and no through traffic, it's the perfect place to take a break from the noise and stress of life.
We offer a comfortable tranquil space in which to relax and unwind, and pride ourselves on the food we offer. The breakfasts are generous and wholesome using local organic produce whenever possible.
Fruit compote, fresh grapefruit and pancakes are on the menu as well as a hearty cooked breakfast. Eggs are organic from local free range hens, fresh bread is baked on the premises and preserves are made from fruit grown on the allotment
Vegetarian and vegan meals are our specialty and other dietary requirements can be catered for. The area is well-supplied with excellent restaurants and cafes to please all tastes. Leave your car on the drive at your bed and breakfast and stroll along the cliff to the unspoilt North Norfolk fishing port of Sheringham with its famously characterful shops, or walk further along the beach to Cromer.
There are 770 acres of National Trust forest and parkland within easy reach as well as the famous North Norfolk salt marshes at Blakeney and Cley where you can take a boat to see the seals. The West Runton Cliffs, home of the West Runton Elephant, are world famous among fossil-hunters.
