We have lived in Wells-next-the-Sea over 30 years and have always known we had something special. The barn and outbuildings belonged to an old manor house. Our attractive gardens with mature borders, pond and water features have a lovely view across to the St Nicholas church tower. The peacefulness and serenity of our location brings our guests back year after year.
The accommodation comprises three individual colour coordinated bedrooms. One double and two twins. En-suite facilities include colour TV, clock radio, hair dryer, tea-coffee making facilities. We use Molton Brown toiletries. WiFi Internet access.
We pride ourselves in our 'Aga' cooked breakfasts. We are totally flexible with our menu. All produce is locally sourced. Fresh pink grapefruit is available daily. Sausages are from the Norfolk 'Butcher of the Year' We use chestnut mushrooms and free range eggs. Locally smoked kippers are available on request.
Just one other point of interest. The locals have always known it and now a respected consumer magazine has made it official by rating Wells-next-the-Sea among Britain's top three sea-side resorts. Our wide open skies, salt marshes and miles of golden sands was what impressed the researchers from Holiday Which magazine.
Our grading with ETC is 4 stars and a Gold Award We were chosen by the Sunday Times Travel Magazine October issue 2007 as one of the 100 finest places to stay in England.
We were also one of three finalists in the Norfolk Tourism Awards 2007 and 2009
We look forward to welcoming you to our home.
There is off-street parking in the garden and speaking of gardens you have your own private garden area and patio accessed directly from the ground floor bedrooms.
