The Merchants House - Wells-next-the-Sea, Norfolk

Stay with us in one of the oldest houses in Wells, the rear part built in 1480 and later additions in 1700. Just 100 metres from Wells Quay and very close to the centre of Wells. We are Alastair Sawday 'Special Places to Stay' recommended.

The Four Poster room has a Kingsize bed with views of the Lifeboat station and has its own adjacent private bathroom - bath and large shower cubicle.

£80 per room per night inclusive of breakfast.

The Blue room - Kingsize bed with views of the lifeboat station and en-suite shower room.

Both rooms have full central heating and are warm and cosy in the colder weather.

We are a non-smoking house.

Our full English breakfast includes local bacon, sausage, free range eggs, tomatoes and mushrooms.

Homemade bread, marmalade and jams. Vegetarian diets can be accommodated.

Both rooms have tea and coffee making facilities, colour television, hairdryer, white bed linen and large fluffy towels in the bathrooms. There is parking in our courtyard during summer months.
