Shrublands - Wighton, Norfolk

Set in a traditional country village we offer 3 light and airy rooms with ensuite shower, toilet and basin. Simply decorated with white walls, period beds, lovely linen and fully equipped with television, comprehensive beverage trays, hairdryers, hand towels and bath sheets and toiletries. The two bedrooms to the rear of the house have views over a lovely garden with it’s trees and bird life. The third room is at the front of the house and has uninterrupted views over the fields to Walsingham.

We are very proud of our comprehensive breakfast which is cooked daily by the chef proprietor and includes home-baked goods, fresh fruit salads, compotes, yoghurt and cereals for starters plus egg or cheese dishes, three fish dishes or full English if you wish. We use the local farm's free range eggs and where possible we use home produced or locally sourced seasonal produce.

The vaulted ceiling breakfast room and guest lounge, with TV, is an ideal place to relax in, winter or summer, and leads to the guest’s sunny courtyard garden. In addition we offer evening meals tues–fri by arrangement and packed lunches daily. Free internet access WIFI is also available.

During the fifteen years we have been in business we have been told many, many times we offer excellent value for money and service second to none. Our aim is to offer a cheery service giving help and advice when asked, but not intrude otherwise, leaving you to have a happy, relaxed break.

Sorry we do not take pets, children, wedding or party guests.

There is plenty of private parking for cars and day boats with lockable storage for bikes and canoes.
