Hear evening owlsong and the dawn chorus at this friendly family run Guesthouse. Set in large peaceful gardens surrounded by open countryside, yet convenient for local amenities. Coltishall is in a delightful rural part of the Norfolk Broads - England's newest National Park, approximately seven miles from Norwich and two miles from Wroxham, the Norfolk coast and sandy beaches are within easy reach. Families welcome, TV lounge available in conservatory ovelooking garden, plenty of parking.
DINING ROOM
The dining room is south facing and catches the early sun to complement the full English breakfast, which is included in our nightly tariff. We rear our own hens and use their fresh free range eggs whenever possible for breakfast. An acre and a half of garden, we hope will help to make your stay memorable.
The room is south facing and overlooks one and a half acres of enclosed garden. We usually make up individual tables or for large parties, we can make up a single table for up to fifteen guests.
Each of our rooms has en-suite facilities, a colour television and tea/coffee-making tray. Facilities are available nearby for fishing, sailing, bird watching and country walks, as well as the many attractions, which Norfolk has to offer.
ACCOMMODATION
All the rooms at The Hedges are ensuite, non smoking and have tea and coffee making facilities. We provide a hairdryer, remote colour television and cooling fans during summer. Light weight quilts are also provided in summer. Guests are provided with a front door key and so can come and go as they please.
THE ROOMS
· Two family rooms both with a double, a single and a guest bed. They are both ensuite and have room for a cot, which we can also supply.
· Upstairs twin room with an ensuite toilet and shower.
· Downstairs twin room which overlooks the Garden. This room is ensuite and has zip and lock matresses and so the bed can be converted into a superking size double bed. It has additional room for a cot.
· Ground floor double room with additional room for a cot
We also have two tables in the new conservatory with a view of the Garden, in which there can be up to 40 birds at any one time. We have a garden bird list of over 30, including: Treecreeper, Greater Spotted and green Woodpecker. |
