ABOUT THE AREA

In the rural Norfolk village of Somerton it is excellent for walking, cycling, sailing and bird watching, with superb views of the coast and beautiful, unspoilt, sandy beaches just a short walk away at Winterton. Perfect for family days out, there is a wealth of local interest, including the historical village church which is home to the “Norfolk Giant” and nearby there are two traditional family pubs, perfect for a relaxing drink at the end of the day. River boats and yachts can be hired by the hour, half day or day at the nearby village of Martham where you can also find a variety of shops.
