Welcome to Driftway Guest House which was originally built in the 1970s as a farmhouse and has since been extended to offer luxury twin en-suite guest accommodation. A selection of tea and coffee, radio alarm clock, television and thoughtful extras are provided together with a welcome tray on arrival with home baked cakes. A hearty Traditional English Breakfast using fresh local produce or a lighter healthier option from fruits to fish is served in the tastefully furnished dining room. Our ETC 4 Star Silver Award Guest House is situated inland in Aylmerton between Cromer and Sheringham just off the A148. It benefits from glorious rural views, including towards National Trust land. An ideal spot for birdwatching and birds seen from our garden include Buzzard, Red Kite, Common Crane, Hen and Marsh Harriers, Hobby, Ring Ouzel, Grey Partridge, Barn Owl and Little Owl. Whilst good numbers of Goldfinches are seen regularly at our bird feeders. Aylmerton Church sits on the hillside and is a 15th Century building with a round tower which dates back over 700 years. Guests can step out and enjoy tranquil country walks and one of many pretty beauty spots the Lions Mouth which can be found alongside the A148. The National Trust's Felbrigg Park and Hall are also within easy walking distance and Sheringham Park a little further afield. Cyclists will enjoy exploring this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Driftway is within easy reach of many tourist attractions such as the North Norfolk Railway, Cromer Pier and sandy beaches. At nearby Roman Camp you can enjoy bar or restaurant meals and access to a local convenience store and garage. Wish you were here? A warm welcome awaits . . . | ||||||||||
